This year, five thousand schoolchildren from 15 countries of the world took part in the mathematical competition. Diplomas of winners and prize-winners, certificates of participants in the final stage are already available for download in the personal account of the Formula Unity project website.
The International Mathematical Olympiad itself appeared as a result of the merger of the Third Millennium Olympiad and the educational program «Formula of Unity» of the Euler Foundation. It was first held in the 2013-2014 academic year.
The Olympiad was organized by the State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin, sponsored by Euroinvest Group of Companies.
Euroinvest Holding regularly supports events aimed at identifying and supporting young talents, who in the future will become the basis of the new economy of the region and the country.
For example, Euroinvest became the general partner of the Star of Prometheus competition, which was organized by the World Club of Petersburgers. The laureates were awarded in the nominations «Science», «Journalism», «Sport». Among those who received award stars made of cupronickel and brass are young people aged 14–17 who distinguished themselves in various olympiads and competitions.
In particular, for these purposes, Euroventure was created, a fund that develops innovations in all areas of industry, from the food and processing industries to supercomputer engineering.
Andrei Berezin is convinced that the future will be created by intellectuals with capital and brains. The success of any business, the entrepreneur is convinced, is directly related to the brain.
“Where they concentrate, there will be a breakthrough,” he stressed.
